Asia Iron ore-India stuck at $48-$50

Indian iron ore was reported to be flat this week, stuck in the same range since mid-March, with China drawing supplies slowly but steadily, even as traders eyed contract talks between steel companies and iron ore miners for future direction.

S.V. Salgaocar, managing director of V.M. Salgaocar and Brother Pvt Ltd, stated:

It is not a stalemate. Trades are going on, but there is no urgency to buy in China.
