KEY PROJECTS
Lac Lamêlée Iron Property
100% owned. 12,500 metre drill program near completion. Preparation of NI 43-101 resource estimate end of 2012, to be followed by PEA.
Magpie Iron Titanium Property
46.72% owned. NI 43-101 compliant resource; indicated 635.2 Mt @ 42.49% FeT, 11.2% TiO2, inferred; 293.2 Mt @ 42.29% FeT, 11.21% TiO2. Bulk samples for metallurgical purposes presently being tested in China leading to possible off take agreements.
Desolation Lake Iron Property
92.5% owned. Recent drill program revealed a near true width intersection of 422 metres grading 28.6% FeT for 40.9% Fe2O3; the hole ended in the iron formation in a multi kilometric scale magnetic feature indicating the possibility of substantial mineralization. Further work is planned.
Gaspé Gold Property
100% owned. A series of untested historic gold occurrences over a strike length of some 13 kilometres ; currently being tested by two drills.
McFauld’s Lake Property
100% owned. Ni PGM and Chromium potential; currently under option to Bold Resources Inc.
Stoke Mountain Property, optioned
Interesting copper zone; 2011 drill hole returned 7.29% copper over 6.4 metres. Down hole geophysics in progress, to be followed by further drilling.
Clinton Property, optioned
Series of six mineralized lenses along a strike length of approximately 6 kilometres, plus a further 10 km of favourable strike length. One drill currently active testing recent geophysical targets.
Beauce Property, 100% owned
Includes historic Gilbert River Placer deposits, the site of Canada’s first gold rush in the 1840’s and 50’s. To date no bedrock gold source has been identified, although the Company’s reconnaissance drilling has indicated the presence of highly prospective silicic alteration and quartz vein systems.
Nason Brook Property,100% owned
Gold prospect located in SW New Brunswick. Strong gold-in-soil geochemical anomalies; associated geophysical targets. Drilling planned shortly.
SUMMARY
Fancamp Exploration is a Canadian company with a diverse portfolio of projects including iron, gold, nickel, zinc and copper. The Company’s wholly-owned Lac Lamêlée Iron Property and Magpie Titanium-Iron Property are located in the mining-friendly province of Quebec. Its JV Desolation Lake Property is located in the mineral-rich James Bay Lowlands of Ontario.
Drill work on all of these exploration-stage projects has returned promising assay results. Assays results on Lac Lamêlée show intersections of high grade magnetite and hematite iron formations and indicate that this property has the potential to host significant tonnages. A 12,500 metre drill campaign is underway with the objective of establishing an NI 43-101 compliant Measured and Indicated Resource Estimate. Fancamp’s other significant resource properties include the prospective gold, copper and zinc properties in the Quebec Eastern Township.
