Buswell Approves Esperance Iron Ore Exports
Mining Weekly reported that Western Australia’s Transport Minister Troy Buswell has given the green light for a new iron export facility, located at Port of Esperance, which will lead to an expansion of the port’s iron ore export capacity.
As quoted in the market news:
Recent market sounding conducted for the Esperance Port Authority indicated that initially it could be commercially viable to develop a facility for an additional 10-million to 12-million tons a year.
